About
We are seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer with mid-level to senior experience to join our team. You will contribute to a professional service focused on the secure and efficient management of digital documents within a document management system. Your responsibilities will include configuring, provisioning, and maintaining the underlying software and infrastructure to meet stringent quality and service level standards.
Project
This project involves developing a platform consisting of both hardware and software components for a client in the energy industry based in Germany. The platform will secure and efficiently manage digital documents within a document management system.
Tech stack
- Development and build: Gradle / Java, Jfrog
- Deployment and infrastructure: GitLab CI/CD, Azure cloud (after migration to the cloud), Linux
Your responsibilities
- responsibility for platform availability
- continuous monitoring of the performance of the systems and services to ensure they are online and operational
- ensuring the stability and efficiency of pipelines and releases
- maintaining and adapting scripts for ad-hoc data-loading or data-fixing tasks
- monitoring, creating, and updating the Gitlab server with GitLab Runner and its pipelines
- monitoring alerts, creating/tuning configurations, and initiating relevant discussions
- ensuring all infrastructure is secure and resilient
What do we expect?
- strong experience in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure management
- proficiency in at least one public cloud platform (Azure preferred)
- proven expertise in setting up and managing pipelines and releases
- experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- experience with GitLab
- passion for optimizing and improving systems and processes
- fluency in English
