As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining a Document Management System. Your responsibilities

  • design and implement test automation frameworks, including the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts
  • conduct manual testing where necessary
  • focus on performance and testing requirements (auxiliary services)
  • design and develop solutions for conducting performance testing
  • execute and gather new data for load and performance testing
  • plan and integrate automated end-to-end test cycles into the overall testing strategy
  • develop and execute test cases based on new requirements within the development environment and across integrated systems
  • champion continuous integration and quality control through a combination of automated and manual testing strategies
  • drive the delivery of high-quality solutions by leveraging the power of test automation
  • collaborate closely with all team members, including Product Owners, Co-Product Owners, Technical Architects, Testers, and Developers, to gain a deep understanding of both functional and technical requirements
  • effectively communicate with stakeholders outside the immediate team to ensure the highest possible product quality

 

What do we expect?

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing with good knowledge of different test levels such as functional, integration and system tests
  • at least 1 year of experience in Agile Testing
  • familiarity with different test design techniques
  • experience in test automation with Playwright or similar tool
  • experience with creating automated tests using Typescript (or JavaScript)
  • experience with usage of tools like Jira, GitLab, SharePoint, Confluence, Slack
  • familiarity with Agile Software Development (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe) including understanding the role of testing in quality-focused agile development projects
  • high interactivity and good analytical capabilities for evaluating results
  • strong communication skills for handling discussions with the team and the stakeholders
  • a proactive way of working, the ability to come up with and execute solutions
  • fluency in English, and German will be an advantage
  • nice to have:
    • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or Agile Tester Foundation Level
