About

  • We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer for our client in the energy industry based in Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying automation opportunities and coordinating with Business Process Experts to understand testing needs. You will create, maintain, and execute automated test cases using the Tosca Tricentis tool across systems like SAP S/4HANA and MS Dynamics. This is 6m contract with possibility of prolongation.

Your responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential test automation candidates across systems such as SAP S/4HANA, MS Dynamics, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Collaborate with Business Process Experts to understand testing requirements and align automation strategies.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Tosca Tricentis.
  • Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects to ensure system quality and performance.
  • Continuously improve test coverage and efficiency by refining existing test scripts and processes.

 

What do we expect?

  • Experience in software development methodologies in various setups (agile, V-model),
  • Experience in software testing (test case design, test execution and reporting)
  • Understanding of the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing processes
  • Logical thinking, creative and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues during the testing process
    Intensive and proactive cooperation with project management, IT consultants and business
    Experience with test management tools (e.g. Solman, Zephyr or similar)
  • Experience in Test Automation of SAP or MS Dynamics (Tosca Tricentis)
  • ISTQB certification is preferred
  • English fluent, German communicative
