About
We are looking for a Medior QA Engineer. In this role, you will support both modern and legacy enterprise applications, working in a mixed environment with a focus on manual and automated testing. You will contribute to the quality delivery of complex systems and work closely with development and product teams on testing and release processes.
Your responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing for legacy and modern systems.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Manage and contribute to testing documentation within the test case management system.
- Optimize test automation workflows in CI/CD environments (GitLab, Pipelines).
- Test and validate REST APIs and event-driven systems (Kafka).
- Use AI tools and Agentic Coding to generate, optimize, and maintain test cases.
- Apply AI for improved defect detection, regression analysis, and test coverage.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams on defect reporting and release readiness.
- Contribute to KPI tracking and QA process improvement initiatives.
What do we expect?
- Proven experience in manual testing of enterprise applications.
- Strong skills in Playwright and TypeScript for test automation.
- Practical experience with Postman, Newman, and JavaScript for API testing.
- Solid knowledge of REST API testing and event-driven systems (Kafka).
- Understanding of Docker and containerized environments.
- Hands-on experience with AI in development, especially Agentic Coding.
- Experience working in modernization and mixed IT environments.
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel 1-2 times per year.
