Important to consider:

The duration of the project assignment is limited to 6 months, with the option to extend.

 

The following criteria should be considered for the election of the candidate:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in load and performance testing, ensuring scalability, stability, and reliability of complex systems under varying workloads.
  • Strong expertise in designing and executing performance test strategies, including load, stress, spike, and endurance testing.
  • Proficient with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, k6, or LoadRunner to simulate realistic user behavior and traffic patterns.
  • Deep understanding of performance metrics (e.g., response time, throughput, latency, error rates) and the ability to analyze results to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
  • Experienced in performance engineering practices, including workload modeling, capacity planning, and defining performance benchmarks (SLOs/SLAs).
  • Solid understanding of modern backend architectures, including microservices, distributed systems, and API-driven designs (REST), with a focus on performance implications.
  • Hands-on experience testing APIs and asynchronous systems, including message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Strong experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with a good understanding of cloud-native architectures and scalability patterns.
  • Practical experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes), including understanding of scaling, resource management, and performance implications.
  • Hands-on experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), enabling continuous performance validation.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to provision and manage performance test environments.
  • Familiar with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics), including setting up dashboards and analyzing system behavior during performance tests.
  • Good understanding of cloud networking and load balancing concepts, enabling effective identification of performance bottlenecks in distributed environments.
  • Experience collaborating closely with DevOps and platform teams, contributing to automation, environment setup, and performance optimization.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous performance improvement.
  • Proactive and self-driven mindset, taking ownership of performance quality from early design stages through production monitoring.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills to present insights and collaborate effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
