Senior Scrum Master for eMobility

About

We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master to support and stabilize delivery across multiple teams within a complex, low-agile-maturity environment. In this role, you will work closely with Product and Technology leadership to improve delivery predictability, reduce inefficiencies, and establish a pragmatic Agile framework. The focus is not on enforcing Scrum by the book, but on creating a sustainable, results-driven delivery model. You will play a key role in strengthening collaboration across teams and enabling better planning, prioritization, and execution within a dynamic digital ecosystem.

 

Project

The client operates as both a Charge Point Operator (CPO) and a Mobility Service Provider (MSP), delivering EV charging solutions supported by a broad digital ecosystem, including platforms, enterprise systems, and customer-facing applications.

 

Your responsibilities

  • stabilize and improve delivery across 6 teams (including 4 development teams)
  • establish a pragmatic Agile delivery framework, including:
  • operating rhythm and planning discipline
  • dependency and risk management
  • backlog structure and hygiene
  • definition of Ready / Definition of Done
  • release planning and discipline
  • retrospectives with measurable outcomes
  • work hands-on with the most challenged teams to improve performance
  • coach Product Owners and Technology leaders on:
    • planning and prioritization
    • trade-offs and realistic commitments
    • estimation techniques (e.g., magic estimation)
    • PI (Program Increment) planning
  • reduce scope churn through improved clarity and alignment (not enforcement)
  • introduce lightweight artefacts, frameworks, and playbooks for long-term sustainability
  • manage dependencies across teams, platforms, and external vendors
  • engage with senior stakeholders and confidently challenge when needed

 

What do we expect?

  • proven experience as a Senior Scrum Master in complex environments
  • strong track record in stabilizing delivery in low Agile maturity organizations
  • experience managing cross-team dependencies and external stakeholders
  • ability to drive clarity, reduce scope churn, and improve delivery predictability
  • pragmatic approach to Agile, quality, and release readiness
  • strong stakeholder management skills, including executive-level communication
  • hands-on coaching experience with both teams and leadership
  • excellent problem-solving and facilitation skills
  • fluent English

    Nice to have:

  • experience in e-mobility, energy, or platform-based environments
  • familiarity with scaled Agile practices (e.g., PI Planning)
  • experience working with distributed or nearshore teams
  • background in vendor management or multi-vendor environments
